Managing Director


Mr. Tan is the Founder and Managing Director of Ti Investment Holdings. He has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry, particularly in the field of private equity, corporate finance, strategy consulting and execution. Mr. Tan is responsible for the overall business strategy and development of our company as well as deals origination and investment activities. He currently also serves as a Non-Executive Director of SGX-listed JLJ Holdings Limited

Previously, he was Head of Corporate Finance and Business Advisory at BDO Advisory Pte Ltd. (BDO is the world’s fifth largest accounting and consulting firm). He specialized in strategic Board and senior level management consulting and corporate development advisory like equity fund raising and M&A for Asian private and listed companies. He has also charted strategic growth plans for clients that are seeking growth and capital raising and had successfully completed numerous IPO and business advisory transactions.

Prior to BDO, Mr. Tan was Associate Director of Sirius Venture Consulting and Director of Sirius Management Services Pte Ltd specializing in direct investment of both private and listed companies in Asia and has full experience in deal origination, evaluation, due diligence and industry/company research, deal structuring, execution and project management of IPO and fund raising projects in Asia.

Mr. Tan has also acquired banking experience through working in JP Morgan & Co Inc. and DBS Bank Group prior to investing in an education company in China.

Mr. Tan graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business (Honours) Degree majoring in Financial Analysis and obtained a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. Mr. Tan is also a CFA charterholder and member of CFA Institute.

As a form of contribution to his alma mater, Mr. Tan serves as an adjunct lecturer with Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University’s Master of Science (Finance) Program.
